  • SafeTALK Training Thomastown GAA club are facilitating a SafeTalk Training course on Thursday 25th January from 6.00p.m – 9.30p.m in the Community Hall, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. The training is organised and delivered by the HSE Regional Suicide Office. SafeTALK is a 3.5 hours training programme that prepares participants over the age of 18 to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to a suicide first aid resource. The training prepares participants to help by using the steps of TALK (Tell, Ask, Listen and Keep) to identify and engage with people who are contemplating suicide and to connect them with further help and care. HISTORY MADE AS THOMASTOWN BECOME 
2013 ALL IRELAND JUNIOR HURLING CHAMPIONS
10th February 2013 - Mark it down as the day when Thomastown's hurlers created history in Croke Park when they defeated Fullen Gaels of Manchester by 2-17 to 2-14 to become All Ireland Junior Hurling Champions.
