Thomastown played Slieverue in Mullinavat on Sunday in the South Junior Championship.  The final score was 1.19 to 1.8 to Thomastown.  Thomastown pulled ahead early on and never looked in real danger of losing.  Jonjo scored the first point and was answered by two points from Slieverue before points from Stephen Connolly (2), Michael Mahony (2), Jonjo (2 further points), and a great goal from Dulan Waugh brought the score to 1.6 to 2 points.  Dylan scored three further points and Colin Clarke score one by half time.  In the second half Slieverue scored a goal early but Thomastown fought back with points from Dylan Waugh (5 frees), David Prendergast (1), Dessie Walsh (1) and Jonjo Farrell (1) which kept Thomastown well ahead.  A good team performance and another great win for the Juniors!
