GAA News.  Another great team performance from the Juniors produced a win over Bennetsbridge on Saturday in Grennan.  The final score was 1 20 to 1 17.
An early goal from the 'Bridge did not deter Thomastown's relentless point-scoring and by half-time they were a goal and five points ahead.  Late in the second half Bennetsbridge caught up but Thomastown pulled ahead to victory.  Thomastown's goal was scored by Darren Burke.  Dylan Waugh scored seven points including the first point of the game (a 65), the other six from frees.  Jonjo Farrell scored four points from play, Tucker O'Hanrahan scored 2 points and his brothers Peter and James scored a point each.  Stuart Waugh came on at half-time to replace Robert O'Hanrahan and scored two points and James O'Hanrahan replaced Colin Clarke ten minutes into the second half.  Points were also scored by Darren Burke, Michael  Donnelly and Dessie Walsh.
