All County Junior Hurling League.  A great win for Thomastown Juniors on Bank Holiday Monday in  Paulstown when they took on Barrow Rangers.  The final score was 17 points to 15 points.  The first point for Thomastown was scored by John-Joe Farrell in the second minute followed by a point from Michael Donnelly three minutes later which was the first of eight points scored by him. John-Joe racked up two more points followed by a lovely shot straight between the posts by James O'Hanrahan before Barrow Rangers replied in the 10th minute with the first of six points scored successively before Micheal Donnelly hit three more straight over the bar followed by a point from Dessie Welsh.  Barrow Rangers answered with with three ponits taking the score to 13 to 9 before Michael Donnelly answered with three ponits of his own and John-Joe Farrell put over two more.  Barrow Rangers were leading by one point whe David Prendergast put one over the bar to bring the score to 15 all. Another point from Michael Donnelly and a final point from David Prendergast in the dying seconds of the game brought the final score to 17 points to 15 in favour of Thomastown.  Another great team effort.
