2014 AGM Update

The AGM of Thomastown GAA Club was held in the Concert Hall on Friday 3rd Jan. Chairman Sean Treacy recalled the many activities and achievements in the club during 2013, the highlight being the All Ireland win in Croke Park last February. Ada Doyle (PRO) and Anne Barcoe (Registrar) stepped down after a number of years of great service in those positions. All other officers were elected to remain in their positions. The officers for 2014 are as follows - Seán Treacy – Chairman, Richard Moore – Secretary, Michael Ryan – Treasurer, Frank Donnelly - Vice Chairman, Michael Walsh – Registrar, Kevin Kelly - P.R.O. , John Lanigan - County Board Delegate, Brendan Fennelly - Southern Board Delegate.

The AGM of the juvenile club took place on Saturday 11th Jan. Chairman Ger Walsh thanked everybody who was involved with all the teams from Under 6 to Minor, and expressed the hope that people would continue to come forward to help in any way they could. Kay Burke (Secretary) and Kevin Kelly (Treasurer) were replaced by Ann Donnelly and Donal Farrell respectively. Ken Walsh and Richard Prendergast are the Bord na nOg reps for 2014.
